A dynamic anti-poverty nonprofit organization with deep community roots, Martha O’Bryan Center (MOBC) serves low-income families & children in Middle TN. Our mission: We assist families to rise above poverty in one generation. Operating ten sites in Nashville and working collaboratively across Middle TN, our headquarter services are in Nashville’s Cayce Place Homes.  

As the lead agency for the Tennessee Alliance for Economic Mobility, we are distributing funds to client providers to offset the “benefits cliff” so that people can earn more and not suffer economically due to big drops in benefits that are triggered by small increases in income.
