United Way unites the community and mobilizes resources so that every child, individual and family thrives. Together, we are ensuring every child receives a quality education, no one lives in poverty or poor health, and the most basic needs of our families are met. We convene individuals, businesses, nonprofits and government to have tough conversations and the make smart investments that will create lasting solutions for our region’s most pressing issues. Alongside the Mayor’s Office, we operate the Nashville Financial Empowerment Center, which offers no-cost one-on-one financial counseling to residents in Greater Nashville. The FEC helps people move from a state of instability to a state of empowerment with new savings habits, higher credit scores and lower debt burdens.
